Oddly enough, a really good picture of me.

Oddly enough, a really good picture of me.

My name is Dannyn Peterson. I live in a midwestern city that is the state capitol, near a small university.  I graduated from a small Catholic college here in the city in 2006 with a degree in History, and a minor in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Justice.

I just turned 40 in 2008, and I don’t know if I feel more like 4 ten year olds, or 10 four year olds. Or maybe 2 twenty year olds…..hmmm. Any way you look at it, I neither feel (mentally) or act my age. I tend to act like a 7th grade boy, and dress like a 7 year old boy. I wear alot of hats. Sometimes, my nose is pierced.

I am a Chronic Pain patient, with a variety of diagnoses (Fibromyalsia, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy [RSD]/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome[CRPS], Chronic Daily Migraines, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, a poorly fused ankle post- traumatic injury, Chronic Fatigue, and a few other things that I tend to forget. I am soon going to be applying for disability benefits; I’ll blog about that fun process!

I consider myself to be an {exceptionally lazy} intellectual dilettante. I read incessantly and indiscriminantly, much to my own chagrin. I take photographs, but I know nothing about photography– I just get lucky, alot. I hate doing the dishes.

  1. How can I contact Dannyn? I have a 22 year old daughter that is contemplating amputatation for much the same reason that she did and would love to be able to have my daughter given the opportunity to speak with her. This would mean a lot to her. Her name is Lannah. Thanks

  2. Robin-
We spoke a bit on FB, I think, but I’ve lost touch with you since then. How is Lannah doing? Is she still contemplating an amputation? Please contact me either on FB or through this site.

    • People noalmrly pay me for this and you are giving it away!

    • Ron, I would never argue against that observation. Even if I did, I still appreciate a well written or thought out idea. After reading several of Mark’s articles I came to the conclusion that he was just being political. He doesn’t seem to see a problem with anything forwarded by the NDP or the value in anything Harper does. The point of my comment was that this practice of blindly accepting and promoting everything just because it’s “Left Wing” is short sighted and loses its integrity eventually.

    • NICE!!!!! im making these! the reason it attracted me is the hazelnut filling. I have been looking for fruit tarts that are not filled with custard or cream. This is the answer that Ive been looking for . Tq Angie. :))) Beautiful tarts! Ill have to come up with more local fruits though. But local fruits arent as pretty, unfortunately, and are always huge. Ill put my thinking/cheffy cap on 🙂
