My name is Dannyn Peterson. I live in a midwestern city that is the state capitol, near a small university. I graduated from a small Catholic college here in the city in 2006 with a degree in History, and a minor in Sociology, with a concentration in Social Justice.
I just turned 40 in 2008, and I don’t know if I feel more like 4 ten year olds, or 10 four year olds. Or maybe 2 twenty year olds…..hmmm. Any way you look at it, I neither feel (mentally) or act my age. I tend to act like a 7th grade boy, and dress like a 7 year old boy. I wear alot of hats. Sometimes, my nose is pierced.
I am a Chronic Pain patient, with a variety of diagnoses (Fibromyalsia, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy [RSD]/Complex Regional Pain Syndrome[CRPS], Chronic Daily Migraines, Trigeminal Neuralgia, Psoriatic Arthritis, Plantar Fasciitis, a poorly fused ankle post- traumatic injury, Chronic Fatigue, and a few other things that I tend to forget. I am soon going to be applying for disability benefits; I’ll blog about that fun process!
I consider myself to be an {exceptionally lazy} intellectual dilettante. I read incessantly and indiscriminantly, much to my own chagrin. I take photographs, but I know nothing about photography– I just get lucky, alot. I hate doing the dishes.
